Job Description

Salary: $80,500 - 149,500 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, a graduate degree with at least 1 year of related experience, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• We require an active Secret security clearance.
• We require DoD 8140.03 IAT Level 2 certification.
• We need someone who can work onsite; this role is 100% onsite and cannot be performed remotely.
• Up to 15% travel may be required.
• Preferred: experience with model-based systems engineering tools such as UML, SysML, and UAF.
• Preferred: experience configuring and operating vulnerability analysis tools such as Tenable NESSUS.

• We support a highly motivated engineering team in defining, designing, implementing, documenting, testing, and sustaining security solutions for National Security Systems and other government-facing systems.
• We apply current standards and frameworks including NIST RMF, NIST publications, CNNSI 1253, JSIG, FIPS, and Cyber Survivability Attributes to help certify systems and achieve accreditation.
• We collaborate with system developers and commercial vendors to evaluate secure systems, networks, and database products using encryption, vulnerability analysis, and security management methods.
• We manage assessment and authorization activities, including vulnerability management and compliance verification.
• We contribute to cybersecurity product development, security assessments, data protection, privacy, and information security management.
• We configure and secure networks, strengthen application security, and help mitigate cyber threats.
• We support IT risk escalation and resolution, security architecture improvements, stakeholder engagement, and enterprise architecture efforts.
• We help integrate security into DevSecOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices.
• We promote a security-focused culture and apply agile practices to cybersecurity initiatives.
