Job Description

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and validate brain-computer interface software systems.
• Create applications, implement new features, and resolve software issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design BCI functionality and novel computer user interfaces.
• Work directly with clinical study participants to refine software based on user feedback.
• Design and implement algorithms to decode brain activity.
• Design user experiences centered around brain control.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack development experience.
• Fluency in Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java.
• Experience architecting elegant, maintainable, performant, and reliable user-facing applications.
• Evidence of delivering high-impact projects to users or businesses with clear metrics and rapid iteration.
• Evidence of exceptional engineering ability and strong understanding of engineering first principles.
• Resourcefulness, flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to handle tasks of varying scope.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Preferred: experience with native desktop, Android, or iOS development.
• Preferred: strong operating-system knowledge, including low-latency concurrency programming, memory management, and networking.
